The Samsara laminated jump/break tips are quickly becoming popular among pool players. This is a leather tip that is hard enough to jump and break with and not cause damage to the cue ball. Made with 9 layers of laminated calf skin, ultra-hard with cue ball grip for control and english! The special manufacturing process used to make these tips has made them feel as hard as phenolic without any of the drawbacks!
All leather and no plastic make these tips legal to use in all playing formats that allow jumping. Available in 14mm size. Hardness: Ultra-Hard
Awesome tipBy: Peter Panopoulos on 16 June 2014I have been using the Samsara Break tip now for almost a year. Being leather, I was quite surprised at the hitting power generated from this tip - It is hard hitting whilst maintaining excellent chalk holding capabilities, unlike a phenolic tip. This becomes highly advantageous when using side on a break such as in some 9 ball break methods - it literally holds the cue ball as well as some normal play tips. The other major benefit is reduced throw... on a BK2 shaft, this tip threw 50% less at full power with a full tip of side compared to the standard issue phenolic tip from predator... Extra grip and less throw increases confidence in applying side on the break to manage the white ball position off the break and guarantee you back down table on the one ball. So why not use a normal kamui hard or moori hard to break? The Samsara doesn't chip, break down or loose shape under the repeated pressure of breaking, so you should experience more consistency in your break results leading to more racks run..... If you are travelling overseas, remember that at some tournaments phenolic break tips are illegal, and being leather, the Samsara meets the approved standard for these tournaments.
